Olga Sedakova, In Praise of Poetry

The Italian translation of Olga Sedakova's poetry and prose, Elogio della poesia, translated by Francesca Chessa, has just appeared from Aracne Press. The cover is beautiful, and I am trying to figure out a way to post it here. The translation of the essay, In Praise of Poetry, as well as the poetry cycles "Tristan and Isolde" and "Old Songs," will also appear in English in 2014, from Open Letter. I have been working on this book, with Caroline Clark and Ksenia Golubovich, for a long time, and we are very happy that it will also soon appear.
